Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We’ve been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. lululemon athletica makes technical athletic apparel for yoga, running, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

Liaised with the client and business analysts ensuring that the requirements were clearly understood and implemented. Collaborated with creative director for the design implementation.

Lead the UI architecture and implementation for the lululemon re-design project. With a team of front-end developers and ATG developers, we took the initial ATG Commerce out-of-the-box templates and transformed it into a more efficient website using custom templates in 2-3 months.

ivivva athletica

Description:
ivivva athletica makes apparel for active girls – dancers, gymnasts, ice skaters and athletes. ivivva was created by lululemon athletica, so you know we’re legit. Plus, everything we make is designed with input from girls just like you.

Came in the last minute to help deliver a successful e-commerce deployment. The project had been plagued with delays and defects. To overcome these issues, I had to lead the remaining feature implementation and defect resolution weeks before the site launch.

Southwest Airlines

Description:
Southwest is the United States’ most successful low fare, high frequency, point-to-point carrier. Southwest operates more than 3,400 flights a day coast-to-coast, making it the largest U.S. carrier based on domestic passengers carried as of December 31, 2010. On May 2, 2011, Southwest acquired Orlando-based AirTran Airways and expects to complete the integration of the two airlines over the next several years.

Led the user interface, front-end development for both baseline Southwest.com and AirTran integration projects. Developed in JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery library. Established and ensured that Southwest.com UI standards are followed and instilled in on-going projects. Implemented Omniture SiteCatalyst features for both tracking, and test and target (A/B testing). Liaised with Marketing, providing suggestions and alternatives ensuring that a positive user experience is maintained throughout the site.

I also developed the new Home Page design/layout (XHTML templates and JSP development, integration with the web application). In addition I also led the redesign effort to harmonize the boarding documents printed from the Southwest.com website. This included the Boarding Pass, Security Document and Held Boarding Pass.

Honey Baked Ham Company

Description:
Honey Baked Ham was founded over 40 years ago by Harry J. Hoenselaar, who began a special tradition when he opened his first The HoneyBaked Ham Company store in Michigan. He’d select the finest quality bone-in ham. Cure it in his secret marinade, and then for tenderness, he’d smoke the ham for hours over a unique blend of hardwood chips.

Collaborated with Fork Solutions to optimize the home page and landing pages of the Honey Baked Ham web site. Our approach was to bring the code up to date by leveraging XHTML Strict Doctype and site optimization best practices. The result was a decrease of 200% to 300% in load time. Needless to say the client was extremely happy with the results.

Prudent Bear

Description:
David W. Tice, Federated’s chief portfolio strategist for bear markets, has been at the forefront of bear market investing for more than 20 years. He launched his firm, David W. Tice & Associates, LLC in 1988 to provide clients with hedging or sell discipline perspectives and recommendations through his “Behind the Numbers” publication and research service. This effort formed the origins of Federated Prudent Bear Fund in 1995 and Federated Prudent Global Income Fund in 2000.
